Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all use of IteraCompute websites, consoles and APIs, including free and serverless inference, by self-service and enterprise users. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Enterprise service agreements may add use restrictions for reserved or dedicated capacity.
2. Prohibited unlawful and harmful use
You must not use the services in violation of applicable law, nor for the following categories of harmful activity:
- Illegal activity, fraud, or facilitating wrongdoing, including advice or instructions for wrongdoing.
- Infringement of intellectual property, privacy or other third-party rights; submitting content you have no right to submit.
- Hateful, harassing or sexually explicit content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate content.
- Generation or distribution of disinformation, spam, phishing, malware or deceptive content.
- Attempting to produce weapons, cyberattacks on critical infrastructure, or imminent violence.
3. Security and integrity
- Do not disrupt, probe, scan or load-test our infrastructure without written authorization.
- Do not gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, keys, models or data.
- Do not circumvent rate limits, quotas, access controls or model scoping, including by bulk registration or operating multiple accounts to evade limits.
- Do not extract, copy or reverse-engineer non-public model weights or infrastructure beyond normal API use.
- Keep API keys confidential; do not embed unrestricted keys in client-side code or public repositories.
4. Fair use of shared capacity
- Respect published rate limits (requests per minute, tokens per minute, concurrency) and Retry-After headers.
- Do not resell, share or pool free capacity outside your account terms; automated bulk or Sybil use is prohibited.
- For predictable production traffic, use serverless paid usage where offered, or reserved / dedicated capacity.
5. Upstream model licenses
Open models served through IteraCompute remain subject to their upstream licenses (for example Apache 2.0 or community licenses stated on model pages). You are responsible for complying with those licenses for your use of outputs.
6. Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected abuse or security issues to security@iteracompute.com. We may investigate, rate-limit, suspend or terminate accounts or keys that violate this AUP, the Terms of Service or the Free Tier Terms, and may preserve logs as necessary for security and legal compliance.
